Opening up the main floor plan of this century-old traditional house increased the function and efficiency needed to accommodate the modern needs of a busy family. Walls were removed and the kitchen was reconfigured for more counter space, storage, and seating. A new sliding glass door opened to the backyard, connecting the house with the exterior and bringing in more sunlight.
