ELLEN LAZAR JORGENSON

Ellen brings nearly 25 years of experience to Sugi Moss.

Her passion lies in creating spaces for modern living, as well as her emphasis on the intersection of architecture with the surrounding environment. Collaboration with clients is at the heart of her philosophy, guiding projects from initial conception to completion, focusing on thoughtful simplicity in her designs and project management.

Throughout her career, she has left her mark on various projects, from new homes to remodels, additions, and renovations across the western US.

After time spent at the Sea Ranch in Northern California and Colorado, she found her home in the Pacific Northwest, where the verdant landscape and natural features remain a constant source of inspiration.

Ellen graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arizona College of Architecture and the Honors College and has been a licensed architect in Washington state since 2006. She lives in West Seattle with her husband and two children. In her free time, she can be found curled up with a book or in the kitchen, exploring her passion for creating wholesome and delicious baked goods.
